Information
Once aboard Tesoro del Mar, the Sea of Cortez is at your fingertips. The sailing is
spectacular and Tesoro del Mar is a very fast and stable boat. You can sail her as much as
you desire, or kick back and let the crew do all the work. Wildlife adventure trips are part
of every charter, and depending on the season, you will see different species of whales, manta
rays, whale sharks, schools of dolphin, sea lions, and magnificent bird life. Few places in
the world offer such a concentration and diversity of marine animals and birds as the Sea of
Cortez (aka Gulf of California). Exciting encounters are commonplace as dolphin play off the
bow of the yacht while underway, and whale spotting (during the season) can be a daily
occurrence.
Tesoro del Mar is graced with four double staterooms, a small stateroom forward, and plenty
of storage space. A hanging locker, shower and head, is in each stateroom. She sleeps up to
six adults, and for families there is also room for two more passengers (kids?) in the forward
stateroom. Adults and children love the space and speed of this roomy sailing yacht. You can
experience more of our scenic area in less time, and everyone will enjoy the view of the
magnificent Sea of Cortez and its gorgeous sunsets from the aft cockpit or the roomy foredeck.
The beautiful main salon is spacious, bright and airy. The dining area comfortably seats
eight around a beautiful varnished table. This is a great gathering place to compare your
adventures and fish stories while your captain mixes a pitcher of our famous "Baja Margaritas"
or an icy fruit smoothie for the kids. Your cook will skillfully craft your meals with a
combination of stateside favorites and delicious local cuisine tailored just for you.
For communications there is a cellular phone and VHF. Also included is a speedo, auto
pilot, GPS, and a depth sounder. Tesoro del Mar is fully insured, inspected for carrying
passengers in Mexico and carries all the necessary safety equipment.

All meals are prepared on a personalized basis from our food form.

Activities:
Sailing, snorkeling, tubing for the small kids, knee boarding for the bigger kids, fishing,
kayaking,beach combing and enjoying all of our sea life.
Tesero del Mar can accommodate 6 persons (adults/kids) comfortably, or
families/close friends up to 8 persons maximum. Tesero del Mar has five
staterooms, 3 double staterooms for guests with en-suite head/shower, 1
double stateroom for the crew, and a very small stateroom forward in the bow.
The small stateroom in the bow has 2 narrow single berths (6' long), a
head and sink (no shower). There is a large overhead hatch with a ladder
to enter. Three adult couples can sleep in the main part of the boat in
three double cabins with in-suite head/shower. The crew sleeps in the
4th double stateroom. Two small/teens could sleep in the bow.
